Who We Are
The White Mountain Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 4217, is a unified organization committed to serving both our members and the communities we protect. We represent dedicated firefighters and emergency responders who take pride in their profession and the responsibility that comes with it.
At our core, we believe a strong union starts with engaged and informed members. We focus on building involvement, providing meaningful training and education, and developing leadership within our ranks. By investing in our people, we strengthen not only our union, but the service we provide to the public.
We are committed advocates for our members—working to secure fair wages, quality benefits, and safe working conditions. At the same time, we strive to ensure that every member is heard, supported, and treated with fairness and respect.
Our work extends beyond the firehouse. We are actively building relationships within our community, partnering with local organizations, and supporting causes that make the White Mountains a better place to live and work.
What I Stand For
As President, I believe in leadership that is visible, accountable, and focused on results.
I am committed to maintaining strong relationships with local and regional leaders to ensure the needs of our firefighters—and the communities we serve—are understood and supported. Thoughtful engagement in the legislative process allows us to be proactive in protecting our profession and improving public safety.
I am committed to building and strengthening our union’s brand—one that reflects professionalism, trust, and pride in the work we do. Our reputation matters. It shapes how our members are viewed, how we engage with the community, and how effectively we advocate for what we’ve earned. We will continue to represent ourselves in a way that earns respect both on and off duty.
I believe in transparency and responsible stewardship of our resources. Our members and our community deserve to know that this organization is managed with integrity and purpose.
Above all, I stand for the people—our members and the community alike. This union exists to support those who serve, and to ensure we continue providing the highest level of service to the public.
Together, we are building a stronger union, a stronger workforce, and a stronger community.
